With the massive popularization of 5G network, there are expectations that 4G users will continue to decline. Many of the 4G users will probably migrate to the faster 5G network. China with the likes of Huawei and ZTE are doing quite well in the development of 5G. There is a consistent increase in the number of 5G base stations. If the current pandemic ravaging the world does not continue, China will probably overtake early starters like South Korea in 5G application.
