Perhaps in order to dispel the players’ concerns, Sony has now announced the PS5 backward compatible games. According to the company, the number of compatible PS4 games on Sony PS5 is over 4,000. In fact, at a previous communication meeting, a PS5 designer revealed that this console will have multiple modes. The modes include PS5 native mode, PS4 Pro’s Pro Legacy Mode and PS4 Legacy Mode. After the release of Sony PS5, all TOP 100 PS4 games will be immediately available on the PS5 console.

At the same time, because the PS4 series and PS5 are equipped with AMD family chip, compatibility will definitely be much better than it is between PS3 and PS4. Sony officially announced the update today. Furthermore, these games will be available at higher frame rates and resolutions. This means that PS5 will offer a better gaming experience for PS4 games.

Gizchina News of the week

The PS5 uses a custom AMD 8-core 3.5GHz Zen 2 CPU and a custom RDNA 2 GPU containing 36 sets of CU units. It also has a floating-point computing power of 10.28 TFLOPs, 16GB GDDR6 memory, a custom 825GB SSD, and a 4K UHD Blu-ray drive.

SSD is the key to PS5’s improved performance. The seek time of the PS4 takes 2 to 50 milliseconds, while the PS5 is almost instant. In terms of loading speed, the PS5 can load 2GB of memory in 0.27 seconds, while the PS4 needs 20 seconds to load 1GB. Sony believes that the new SSD will significantly increase the PS5’s game loading speed. In addition, games can be launched in 1 second with almost no loading time required. On Sony PS5, PS4’s long-term patch download and installation will be a thing of the past.
