Fresh renders of the soon-to-be-launched Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro have surfaced online yesterday. The renders throw up a few unexpected surprises with regards to design while most of the other elements are in line with current trends of 2020. Official specifications, as they appear on TENAA database have also given us a good idea of what to expect from the hardware of the series.

Coming to the Honor Play 4T renders, it accommodates the relatively newer hole-punch design as compared to the older dew-drop notch solution which exists on its Pro model. This is surprising considering the Pro would be the more premium and expensive model. The Play 4T has model code AKA-AL10 and according to TENAA it will come with a 2GHz octa-core processor, Android 10, up to 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage. It has a dual rear camera with a 48MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Most other components such as the display, battery, and software are likely very much the same in both the models.
However, the Pro is powered by a 2.27GHz octa-core processor which could be a part of the Kirin 810 SoC. Also, it has an additional 8MP rear camera sensor along with the other two mentioned above.
Both models have already gone up on retail websites and are poised to launch on April 9th alongside the Honor 9A.
I’ll think about getting Huawei or Honor when they get rid of that ugly notch/waterdrop/hole.
It would be better if sailfish or other Linux option pre loaded is given while buying phone
