Microsoft shows off 8-inch Lenovo Miix 8 Windows 8 tablet

Microsoft held a Windows 8 press conference earlier today at the Computex trade show, where they demoed Windows 8 running on the never before seen Lenovo Miix 8 tablet!

Earlier this year Microsoft made a change to the Windows 8 requirements meaning that manufacturers could produce tablets as small as 8-inches and still run the desktop/tablet OS, and today in Taiwan the first of these mini Windows tabs made a surprise appearance.

Gizchina News of the week

According to the Microsoft the table shown is the Lenovo Miix 8 which sports an 8-inch display, thin alloy body, built-in 3G and can be controlled with a stylus. Lenovo have yet to make an announcement about the never before seen Miix 8 but hopefully we won’t have to wait to long before they do.
