Some months ago, the COVID-19 pandemic which is currently ravaging the world broke out in Wuhan, China. After some weeks, the real threat of the virus hit the city and there was a compulsory lockdown to prevent further spread. A few days ago, Wuhan officially re-opened and some stores also did the same. One of those stores is the Xiaomi Mi store in Wuhan, China.
In a recent CCTV (China Central Television) broadcast, the Xiaomi Mi store in Wuhan was the center of attraction. While trying to report that the city is getting back to normal, CCTV visited Xiaomi Mi Store to check out the procedures of engagement. At the Xiaomi store, all customers must take a scan that reveals their details (real name, registration no, etc). In addition, there is also a quick temperature check and you must wear a face mask to enter.

With the official opening of the city, Xiaomi is back to normal business. However, there is a strict regulation that everybody must follow. For all employees, they must complete the designated isolation period and pass COVID-19 tests before initial entry. Subsequently, there is a daily temperature check for all – both employees and customers.Ā Furthermore, the Chinese company gives its staff some essential items daily for their protection. They get two face masks, a disinfectant (spray) and an antibacterial hand sanitizer.
