At the end of March, Qualcomm announced the launch of two new Bluetooth chips designed specifically for wireless headsets – Qualcomm QCC514x and QCC304x. Today, Qualcomm issued a detailed introduction to these two chips. The company said that the new chip is optimized for true wireless earbuds and ear-worn devices. They can provide a more stable connection and long battery life. It also supports a new mirror connection and active noise reduction.
aptX Adaptive + active noise reduction
The Qualcomm QCC514x and QCC304x series audio chips support Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio technology. In addition, QCC514x and QCC304x series chips also adopt integrated hybrid active noise reduction technology. It can not only provide a quiet listening experience in a noisy sound environment but also brings an ultra-low latency transparent transmission function. The hardware can collect and restore the surrounding sound in real time.

Mirror connection
The Qualcomm QCC514x and QCC304x series chips support the latest TrueWireless Mirroring technology. The latter allows the two earbuds to switch between connections more freely. TrueWireless Mirroring technology allows one earbud to connect wirelessly to a smartphone via Bluetooth. And the other earbud becomes its ‘mirror’. And after removing one earbud connected to the phone from the ear, the other ‘mirror’ earbud can take over the connection with the smartphone, avoiding the disconnection of music or voice calls.
Voice assistant + endurance
The Qualcomm QCC514x series of chips provide always-on wake-up word activation for multiple voice ecosystems. In addition, the QCC514x and QCC304x series chips have industry-leading low power consumption characteristics. The 65mAh battery can provide up to 13 hours of playback time and can also improve power consumption for real use cases.
