On April 17, Meizu Technology officially released the mSmart 5G technical solution to solve the shortcoming of 5G. It also announced that the Meizu 17 series 5G flagship has begun mass production. Furthermore, the company officially teased the front view of the Meizu 17 series 5G flagship yesterday. Today, the invitation letter for the Meizu 17 series 5G flagship press conference was sent out. These smartphones which are fully in stock will arrive on May 8.
The invitation letter of the Meizu 17 series 5G flagship is a three-dimensional ballot box with some small cards. The ballot box reads “The design that does not lose is the good design”. The cards on the invitation letter evaluate Meizu’s past products, technology/function innovations.
In the invitation letter, there are still many cards with no content. It only has the sentence “Meizu 17” as a header and you can fill in the rest of the content yourself. Does this also imply that Meizu always listens to the voices of consumers? At least, we think the company needs users’ opinions.

Meizu 17 series speculations so far
This series will be Meizu’s first 5G mobile phones. According to previous information, this phone should use a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED screen with a Snapdragon 865 processor. It also supports LPDDR5, UFS 3.0, 4500 mAh battery, an on-screen fingerprint sensor as well as a horizontal linear motor.
In terms of design, it uses a single punch-hole screen design. It has a relatively high front screen ration and the ultra-thin bezels give it a strong visual impact. It is worth mentioning that this smartphone also retains the white panel design.
