Adding to a growing list of series it already has, Vivo is expected to launch a new G series of smartphones with the Vivo G1, tipped to launch sometime in May. Apart from the first model’s leaked specifications, we’re yet to find out how Vivo will place the series in its increasingly crowded portfolio.
Going into the details, Weibo’s trusted leaker Digital Chat station (Weibo ID : @ 数码 闲聊 站) has posted that the Vivo G1 is scheduled to launch next month. This can be traced back to a new Vivo smartphone, that was spotted on China’s Industry and Information Technology Ministry’s website with similar specifications a while back.
