Vivo’s V-series is constantly getting new members. Now, the Chinese company has just unveiled a new variant for the Vivo V19 family. The new device carries Vivo V19 Neo moniker and brings mid-range specifications with a pinch or two of flagship specs. Interestingly enough, the device seems to be available only in the Philippines for now. However, we do expect to see more markets receiving it soon.
Vivo V19 Neo specifications
The new smartphone dubbed Vivo V19 Neo is a mid-range smartphone and there is no way to deny this fact. Under the hood, we have the Snapdragon 675 SoC. It’s a capable chipset that can only be found in a few mid-range devices like the Redmi Note 7 Pro. This system-on-chip was revealed in October 2018 and consists in an Octa-Core CPU with six power efficient Kyro 460 Silver cores with 1.8GHz clock plus two Kyro 460 gold chips with 2.0GHz clock. These graphical tasks are ensured by an Adreno 612 GPU and the chip supports up to 8GB of dual-channel LPDDR4X-3733 memory.
The handset also includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage. Like I said before, this configuration is often found among flagship devices. The specifications are built around a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display Ultra O screen with FHD+ resolution. The Ultra O term stands for the top-right aligned punch hole housing the 32MP selfie camera. Moreover, this camera offers support to Super Night Mode and Super Night Selfie features. Talking again about the display, it has a fingerprint scanner placed underneath.

Moving around to the back, we have an L-shaped Quad-Camera setup comprising a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor modules. All the advanced camera features, like Super Night Mode, will be present in the rear camera as well. The handset has a beautiful back with gradient and metallic finish.
A 4,500mAh battery and Android 10 ensure that everything will run smoothly
The Vivo V19 Neo draws power from a 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. That’s a good size for the power-efficient chipset, however, this charging rate will take some hours to fully replenish the phone. The specifications may sound familiar, but that is because the V19 Neo is a new variant of the V19 that is available in Indonesia. In India, the very same device is available under Vivo V17 moniker. Pretty confusing right?
The new smartphone will be available in two color options – Crystal White and Admiral Blue. The handset costs PHP 17,999, which is around $360 or €320. As aforementioned, the handset is available in The Philippines through Vivo’s local website.
