Right now, OnePlus is rolling out a major update for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. A lot of errors were fixed in it, and also several nice improvements were added at once.

OnePlus launches a new update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro

To begin with, the updates for the regular and Pro versions are different. The update for the top version turned out to be more complete, because there were much more errors in previous versions of the OS for it. The regular version will also be updated, but there will not be many changes.

One of the most important fixes was the change in DRM level from L3 to L1. Now everyone will be able to use streaming video applications such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Vido, which previously refused to play high-resolution video due to insufficient protection.

The scrolling issue was also resolved. Earlier, with fast scrolling, the refresh rate of the screen sometimes fell from 120 Hz to 75, which did not look very nice. Now there will be no such problem.

In addition, there have been many minor fixes and improvements that you are unlikely to notice when using the device. In any case, the full list of changes is shown in the images below.
