Recently, there was a huge stir around the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Initially, it was said to hit the market on August 5. But later, this news was denied, saying there will be no such a phone in August. Today, the company’s official Twitter account confirmed it is coming on August 5.
The official Samsung UK account posted a tweet containing an updated look of the butterfly logo used on the first Galaxy Fold. The tweet includes words such as ‘new look’ and is dated August 5. Also, the butterfly hints at a new color option of bronze.

What About Other Products At The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Event?
Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, there should be other models as well. Say, we have heard the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy buds Live TWS and new tablets will be released as well. Among them, the most eye-catching model is the Note 20 Ultra.
The Note 20 Ultra will retain S20 Ultra’s camera. Of course, this might not be a big surprise. After all, the S20 Ultra undoubtedly has its 108MP as the main selling point. For that reason, even the first rumors were assuming the presence of the very same sensor on the Note 20 Ultra. However, Quandt states that he’s “seen hard evidence” of the presence of a 108MP camera on this smartphone. Given to the tipster’s good track record, the Note 20 Ultra is likely arriving with this sensor.
Initially, it’s been assumed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will come at this event as well. But today, the company issued an official statement and said we will mee this new folding screen smartphone tomorrow, on July 22. Honestly, it’s smart move because if two folding screen smartphones are announced at the same event, they would overshadow each other.
