Samsung India has been teasing the Galaxy M31s on its social media for a while. The company looks to increment the M31 with faster charging, a new display on July 30th in the country. Amidst this, tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared detailed information regarding the colour, and storage variants of the device.
He says that the Samsung Galaxy M31s will have two colour variants – Mirage Black and Mirage Blue. It will have either 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB storage options.
Slightly bigger display
We already know that the display is an infinity-O display unlike the waterdrop notch found on the older Galaxy M31. Furthermore, the source says that the display will be a 6.5-inch AMOLED with a pixel density of 407ppi.
From the looks of it, the display seems to be slightly larger and has an FHD+ resolution which is a no brainer as the predecessor had it too. As a bonus, the render on the leaks has no fingerprint sensor which further confirms that Galaxy M31s will have an in-display sensor.

Upgrade on the ultra-wide lens
As for the cameras, we already know that the Galaxy M31s will have a rectangular camera layout on the rear with a 64MP sensor like the M31. However, Ishan says the main shooter which will have an f/1.8 aperture, will be accompanied by a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro and a 5MP depth sensor.
This brings an upgrade in the ultra-wide lens of the Galaxy M31 which had an 8MP sensor with a 123 FOV. Apart from this, the device will be powered by the tried and tested Exynos 9611 SoC.
As a 4G device, we can expect it to have basic features like Dual SIM card slot and support for LTE bands in India. It will also have USB-C, 3.5mm audio jack ports for connectivity.
Expected Price and Availability
Samsung already confirmed that it will have a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. To add to that, there’s reverse charging via USB. The price, however, remains a mystery.
As the retail listing has already appeared on Amazon, it is safe to say that the device will be available on it in addition to Samsung’s Store and offline markets. Few reports have pointed out that the Galaxy M31s will be priced around Rs.20,000($267) in India but that’s not certain until July 31st.
