Redmi Note 7 now receiving MIUI 12 stable update

The Redmi Note 7 which we consider as “Redmi’s Golden Boy” is currently receiving a new update. We consider this smartphone as a “Golden Boy” because it is one of Redmi’s best selling phones. In its first six months in the market, the Redmi Note 7 shipped over 15 million units. This device is also Redmi’s first smartphone after its independence. According to reports from netizens, this device is currently receiving MIUI 12 (MIUI V12.0.1.0.QFGCNXM) stable version. The update size is 681MB. Furthermore, this update adds a lot of new functions and features, including system animation design and privacy protection.

As of now, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is not currently getting this update on a large scale. The company did not give any explanation for this situation. Presently, the first batch of MIUI 12 compatible models already have the update. The second batch of models will gradually get this update before the end of September. The second batch of models includes Mi 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note7/ Pro, Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X /Pro 5G, Redmi 10X 4G and 15 other models.
