Samsung has officially announced the release of One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy S20 smartphones.

The update includes some of the popular features of the new Galaxy Note 20 series and will gradually be rolled out to other Galaxy devices.

Pro Video mode with support for 8K shooting at 24 frames per second and an aspect ratio of 21:9 and the ability to control the direction of the microphone has been added.

The Samsung Notes app has new features including audio bookmarks, PDF import, handwritten notes, automatic save and sync, new templates, background color options, and the ability to add handwritten text to typed documents.

Samsung DeX mode now lets you connect your Galaxy S20 to your smart TV wirelessly for work and play. Samsung DeX also lets you use the Galaxy S20 as a touchpad to control the second display using gestures.

There are also expanded options for connecting to Wi-Fi, including, you can easily share a Wi-Fi password and get access to information about the speed of connections nearby. With the updated Reminder app, you can pre-set the time and place for upcoming appointments and tasks.

Over time, One UI 2.5 will be available not only on Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, S20 Ultra, S20+ 5G, S20+, S20 5G and S20, but also on the entire Galaxy S10 series (S10 5G, S10 +, S10, S10e, S10 Lite ), Galaxy S9 and S9+, Galaxy Note10 series (Note10 + 5G, Note10 +, Note10 5G, Note10, Note10 Lite), Galaxy Note9, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold 5G and Galaxy Fold.
