Last month, Samsung launched its much-awaited budget smartphone dubbed Galaxy M31s in the Indian market. The smartphone arrived with numerous features and additions such as 25W fast charging, quad rear cameras, 6000 mAh battery, reverse charging, and more. The Galaxy M31s shares a lot of hardware from the original M31 smartphone which was confusing the potential buyers. To fix that, we even decided to compare both the devices and point out the key differences.
Even it’s close to being a month since the official launch, the smartphone faces a huge stock issue in the market. Customers were unable to find the Galaxy M31s device at Samsung’s online store and Amazon India. Well, it looks like the chaebol is restocking the product but there’s a catch. This time the device will see a price hike.
Galaxy M31s price increased, back in stock from August 27
As mentioned earlier, it looks like Samsung is planning to bring the device back in online stores starting from tomorrow i.e. August 27. Well, the South Korean giant seems to have bumped the pricing a bit on its official website. The 6GB+128GB variant is now priced at INR 20,499 ($276) while the 8GB+128GB option will set you back INR 22,499 ($303). For those who’re unaware, the previous pricing was INR 19,499 ($262) and INR 21,499 ($289) respectively.
Gizchina News of the week
Since the pricing on the official website is now changed, we should see the same happening with the coming stock on Amazon India. The sudden increase in price might be due to the increasing popularity of the device. The smartphone indeed offers value for money to the consumer thanks to powerful hardware and premium look. Both the devices arrive in two color options namely Mirage Black and Mirage Blue.
