Camera samples of the Axon 20 sub-screen camera smartphone appeared

Today, ZTE posted the first photo taken with the ZTE Axon 20 5G main camera. As a reminder, we are talking about the first smartphone to be equipped with a front-facing camera located under the surface of the screen.

The photo was taken at sunset, that is, in difficult lighting, while the manufacturer claims the minimum amount of noise and excellent detail, although with such a resolution it is not worth making premature conclusions.

The main camera has sensors with a resolution of 64, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels. The front camera will be 32 megapixels. The battery capacity of the ZTE A20 5G is 4120 mAh, the smartphone runs on the Android 10 operating system.

The ZTE Axon 20 5G will be a fairly light and thin smartphone with a weight of 198 and a thickness of 7.9 mm. According to the information specified in the TENAA database, the smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 765G SoC. The screen of the device has a diagonal of 6.92 inches with a resolution of 2460 x 1080, it is using OLED technology.

The smartphone will be official on September 1.

The design and specs of the ZTE Axon 20 5G with a sub-screen camera has leaked

Perhaps one of the most anticipated innovations in the smartphone industry will be the implementation of a sub-screen camera. It’s hard not to admit that this innovation will appeal to a large number of users, because many are simply tired of all these cutouts, notches and holes. And the introduction of this technology is very close to reality as the Chinese company ZTE plans to unveil the Axon 20 smartphone, the first device with a sub-screen front camera.

Gizchina News of the week

Earlier, the company has already begun to publish samples of photos taken by the front camera module. That was in order to check how ordinary users will react to the quality. By this action, the company has already confirmed the presence of a smartphone that is preparing for release.

And recently an unknown ZTE device with the code number A2121 appeared on the TENAA database site. According to rumors, it’s the Axon 20 smartphone. As always, we can see the appearance of the device in the database. Unfortunately, the image of the front of the smartphone is too dark. It makes it impossible to confirm the absence of any cutouts.

The Chinese certification body gives at least some insight into the phone’s specifications. This includes an unidentified 2.4GHz processor, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 4,120mAh battery.

On the back of the smartphone, we see four sensors: 64 MP, 8 MP, 2MP and 2 MP.
