Over the past few days, there has been some confusion about the polygonal design of the Huawei Mate40 RS Porsche Edition. After an Huawei official partly exposed the polygonal design, there were speculations that it could be Hexagonal or Octagonal. However, the latest images shows that the cameras of this smartphone will have an octagonal settings. Today, popular Huawei leakster, Teme, exposed a real image of the Huawei Mate40 RS Porsche Edition.
Unfortunately, the image only shows the rear of this device. However, it confmrs the octagonal design of its penta-camera setup. The colour of this device is rather strange, it feels like a very dark purpule tending towards black. Some consider the colour to be bluish black. In addition to the five camera sensors (main, zoom, ultra-wide angle, unknown and ToF lens), we also have a colour temperature sensor on the rear.
In terms of price, a tweet from Teme suggests that this device will hit the shelf for about €2000. This is a bit less than the €2095 launch price of its predecessor. Furthermore, the rear of this smartphone will use ceramic material. This smartphone will also use the Kirin 9000 SoC just like other models in the series.
