Vivo S7e 5G launched with Dimensity 720 SoC, up for Pre-orders in China


In August 2020, the company launched Vivo S7 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC supporting 5G network. Vivo S7 is a selfie-centric smartphone with a Dual-camera setup on the front side. But in a step further, Vivo launched a new mid-range 5G supported smartphone in China i.e. Vivo S7e 5G. The smartphone has a slim and sleek design, it measures 161 x 74.04 x 7.73mm and weighs about 171.7g.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC with 5G network support. The smartphone features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and 90.1 % screen-to body-ratio. The new phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage with a microSD card slot to expand the storage.

In-camera section, Vivo S7e packs a 64MP primary camera with f/1.89, an 8MP ultrawide macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone can record 4K video with this camera setup. It has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. Vivo S7e takes its power from a 4100 mAH battery with a 33W fast charging support. It runs on FuntouchOS based on Android 10 out of the box. The smartphone also packs an In-display fingerprint sensor, dual-band WiFi, 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM support, and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 161 x 74.04 x 7.73mm and weighs 171.7 g.

Vivo S7e Price and Availability

Vivo S7e is available for pre-orders in China via the official website of the company. It is available in three color options i.e. Phantom  Blue, Mirror Black, and Silver Moon colors. Although there is no information about the price of the new smartphone.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 765G SoC and Adreno 620 GPU. The smartphone comes in two variants i.e. 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. Vivo S7 is a camera-centric phone featuring a triple camera setup at the back. It has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth camera. On the front side, there is a dual-camera setup including a 44MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
