Apple’s unique logo for the ARM Mac conference unveiled


Apple recently issued a new invitation letter confirming that it will hold an event at Apple Park on November 10. It will be Apple’s third press conference this fall. The company is expected to bring new products probably ARM Mac chips and ARM MacBook. The theme of this upcoming event is “One More Thing”. Furthermore, Apple has a unique logo is ready for the “One More Thing” Apple event next week. This custom Twitter tag includes an Apple Logo, the same as the orange, red, purple, and blue hues of the Apple event invitation.

Twitter allows brands to add custom emoticons next to tags as a marketing strategy. According to Agency Creative, the price of these “Hashflags” may be as high as $1 million or more, and they are usually used for large-scale events such as the Super Bowl or holidaysApple previously used custom hashflags in two Apple events in September and October.

In June this year, Apple announced that it would release its first self-developed chip Apple Silicon processor before the end of the year. Apple believes that the chip is the core of the hardware and the foundation of the product. Apple’s self-developed chips will use the ARM architecture, and the official said that the new chips will have higher scalability, high-performance GPUs, stronger professional capabilities, and stronger neural engines.

Apple also said that the first Mac computer equipped with Apple’s self-developed chip will be available at the end of the year. Earlier news claims that the new ARM version of MacBook and iMac will use A14X and A14T processors respectively. These chips use TSMC’s 5nm process.

It is worth mentioning that the macOS Big Sur is the first to adapt to the Apple Silicon processor. However, we are yet to see the official version.

iPhone 12 mini/Pro Max have huge reservations in China

In other news, reports out of China shows that the pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini/Pro Max is blistering. According to reports, from JD.com, the iPhone 12 Pro Max appointments hit 890,000. For the iPhone 12 mini, its reservations exceed 580,000. The total number of reservations for the two models exceeds 1.47 million.

In China, the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max sells between a minimum of 5499 yuan ($832) and a maximum of 11899 yuan ($1801). Specifically:

  • iPhone 12 mini: The 64GB version sells for 5499 yuan ($832) while the 128GB version goes for 5999 yuan ($908). There is also a 256GB version that is selling for 6799 yuan ($1029).
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max: The 128GB version has a 9,299 yuan ($1408) price tag while the 256GB version sells for 10,099 yuan ($1529). The 512GB version is on the shelf for 11,899 yuan ($1801).
