OnePlus starts rolling out January 2021 Security patch on the OnePlus 7 and 7T series.  The company says that this is the final update for the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T, and OnePlus 7T Pro based on Android 10. So both the series will soon get an Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 update. The OnePlus 7 series update comes with firmware version OxygenOS 10.0.11 [EU] and OxygenOS 10.3.8[IN].

Talking about OnePlus 7T update, it comes with firmware version 10.0.16.HD65BA in Europe, firmware version 10.3.8.HD65AA​ in India, and version 10.0.16.HD65A for global variants. On OnePlus 7T Pro, the update comes with firmware version 10.0.14.HD01BA in Europe, 10.3.8.HD01AA​ in India, and 10.0.14.HD01AA for global variants. On all four smartphones, the update packs January 2021 security Patch and September 2020 Google Mobile services (GMS) package.

OnePlus 7T

The company says the update is rolling out in phases. First, it will be rolled out to a small group of users and then after some time, it will reach all the users. However, you can also check it manually by going through the settings>system updates. Moreover, we recommend that before starts installing the update do charge your smartphone up to 50% at least.

Both the smartphones in the OnePlus 7 series are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and Adreno 640 GPU. Both OnePlus 7 and 7Pro comes running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The main differences between both the smartphones are camera, battery, and display. OnePlus 7 has a dual-camera setup at the back whereas the OnePlus 7 Pro has a triple camera at the back.

It also includes two smartphones, both of them are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC and Adreno 640 GPU. Both OnePlus 7T and 7T pro run on Android 10 based OxygenOS 10 out of the box. OnePlus 7T has a triple camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary camera with OIS support, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. On the front side, there is a 16MP camera. Talking about OnePlus 7 Pro there is also a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary camera with OIS support, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS support.
