Dimensity 1100 Has A Certain Improvement Compared With Dimensity 1000+

Dimensity 2000

Not long ago, MediaTek brought two new mid-to-high-end 5G chips: Dimensity 1100 and Dimensity 1200. But there have been many questions concerning these chips because they use the 6nm process node. We mean the current flagship SoCs use a 5nm process. So it’s still questionable what a performance the 6nm chips can provide. Anyways, as for now, we have got the leaked scores of the Dimensity 1100 prototype in AnTuTu.

Dimensity 1100

According to the information released by the Weibo tipster, Dimensity 1100’s AnTuTu running score reached about 580,000. It includes 160,000 for the CPU sub-test and 210,000 for the GPU sub-test. For comparison, most of the models currently equipped with the Dimensity 1000+ score around 520,000 points. Thus, the Dimensity 1100 has an increase of about 60,000 points. The tipster also said that the game power consumption of the Dimensity 1100 is lower than that of the Dimensity 1000+ and the frame rate is higher. So the actual performance is not bad.

Gizchina News of the week

The Dimensity 1100 is based on TSMC’s 6nm process and integrates a 5G modem. The CPU consists of 4 2.6GHz A78 cores and 4 2GHz A55 cores. The GPU is the ARM G77 MC9. At the same time, the Dimensity 1100 also supports up to 100MP lens, a 144Hz refresh rate, WiFi 6 and other features.

Previously, the same blogger stated that a new vivo model V2072A might debut the Dimensity 1100. The machine will be equipped with a 2400*1080p screen. But this is not the most surprising part of this story. It will use a bangs design. However, the frame control of this machine is better, and the chin reaches the flagship level. At the same time, the machine will also run the newly launched Origin OS.
