On the official Samsung website, a mention has appeared of the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 tablet in the Enterprise Edition.

According to the product description, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Enterprise Edition tablet supports microSD cards up to 1TB and has room for a nano-SIM card.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S7 last August, and its successor could hit the market earlier than August 2021. Interestingly, the Galaxy Tab S7 did not come in an Enterprise Edition intended for use by companies.

Samsung Enterprise Edition devices are usually sold to partners, but those who wish can also purchase them for their small businesses. The difference from the regular version is an extended four-year security update schedule, as well as improved support and protection of user data. Of course, this is accompanied by a price increase over the standard versions.

Samsung to expand its budget tablet offering with Galaxy M tablets

Samsung has put the Android tablet back on the map by launching new tablets with powerful hardware. The current-gen Galaxy S7 series is a perfect example as the lineup brings a high 120Hz refresh rate, WQXGA resolution, flagship chipset, large amount of memory and storage, and whatnot. Apart from just focussing on the premium segment, Samsung seems to be focussing on the affordable offering as well.

According to a new report by SamMobile, the company is working on a new lineup of budget tablets dubbed Galaxy M tablets. In fact, the previously spotted high-end Galaxy M62 is not a smartphone but an upcoming compact tablet. At the time of writing this, Samsung has three tablet lineups namely Galaxy Tab A, Galaxy Tab Active, and the premium Galaxy Tab S.

Galaxy Tab A7

The Galaxy M62 comes with the model number SM-M625F and is currently under development. This means that we don’t have any rock hard information at the moment. With that said, that will indeed change in the coming weeks as the device will start appearing for certifications. The model number already suggests that the device will arrive with the Galaxy M62 moniker.

According to our previous report, the device should arrive with 128GB of onboard storage. If that’s the case; then it is going to be the first device in the lineup to feature this much storage. Earlier we thought the M62 might only notch up the memory configurations for the lineup, it now looks like the device is going to bring something more.

the budget tablet offering might actually be a success!
