Of course, sometime last week, there were reports that Facebook is working on this feature for Instagram. For Facebook, it will not only have audio rooms. The social media giant will also add video room to this feature. However, we expect the workability of the video rooms to be the same as the audio rooms.
Furthermore, the Facebook audio rooms will not just be “private” like it is with the original Clubhouse. Facebook will also have public audio rooms. The public audio rooms will not require any special invite. While the public audio rooms will be available to everyone on Facebook, the private mode will be available to only your Facebook friends.

However, before now, when inviting users, Clubhouse will require that you allow access to your phone book. This does not go down well with users. Many people have concerns that their privacy and vital information may be in jeopardy. To solve this issue, Clubhouse released a new update.Ā Ā
This update comes with an upgrade that allows users to invite people without giving Clubhouse access to their phonebooks. Users can now directly enter the contact number of the friend they want to send an invitation to. With this method, the app can no longer read users’ contacts.
