A few days ago, we provided the entire list of models that are going to get those updates. Interestingly, the LG Wing was on all lists that will get Android 11, Android 12 and even Android 13 updates. If you are not aware, it is a dual-screen rotating model released in 2020. And today, we learned that the clearance process has already begun.

LG Wing

According to GSMArena reports, India’s largest retailer Flipkart has begun selling the LG Wing for the half-price and even lower. The original price of the phone was 80,000 Indian rupees ($1060) in all channels. At the same time, LG’s official price was 69,990 Indian rupees ($928). And now, it is sold for 29,999 Indian rupees ($398). Thus, it’s much lower than the half-price.

LG Wing Selling Points

According to LG’s official statement, the LG Wing will be updated to the Android 13 system. So in terms of software, its owners won’t face any problems in the coming years. As for the hardware, the LG Wing has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip inside, which is paired with 8GB+128/256GB storage options.

However, the selling point of this handset is considered to be its form factor and two rotating screens. The main display uses a 6.8-inch 2460 x 1080 OLED screen, and the secondary display has a 3.9-inch 1240 x 1080 OLED screen. There is also a rear 64MP (f/1.8) main camera + 13MP (f/1.9 117° FOV) ultra-wide-angle lens + 12MP (f/2.2 120°) ultra-wide-angle lens sensors combination, while the front-facing camera has a 32MP resolution. The phone also sports a built-in 4000mAh battery, supports IP54 waterproof and dustproof options, sports an under-screen fingerprint recognition, etc.

By the way, at the moment, when we were publishing the article, all units at Flipcart had been sold out.
