+1. Even Sasmung, Zapple, Cony and HTG have yet to release something with that.

I would if it was certain to succeed the campaign but it’s going to fail.

Doesn’t matter unless it competes with Snapdragon in wifi and GPS speed and strength.

iOcean X7 has a very bad GPS antenna I hope they improve it for this new device

I fixed it by putting aluminium foil where the antenas are and then putting on the back cover.

      Either way, i’d rather get a RK32XX or MTK8135(yes it’s a tablet SOC) phone than an 8core a7.

The rockchip has quad-core Cortex A12 Cores, which are scalable down to A7 while being faster than Cortex A9.
The mediatek tablet SOC has a dual A15, dual A7 in BIG.little configuration, which means lots of power and lots of power savings.

The Octa A7 is kinda pointless IMO, nothing is multithreaded that well, especially on phones.

Let’s hope some phone maker hear this out, unfortunately most of them are probably going for the 8 core for the sole reason of it being easily marketable since 8 > 4 to average joes. 🙁

I’m starting to see MTK6592 unbranded phones for sale on alibaba and other websites. Does anyone thing they could be genuine? ?

Phones are actually pretty good. On par with 2012 highend by htc and samsung. I would not call that crap.
