Xiaomi Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro And Mi 11 Ultra Landed In India

At an online conference, today, Xiaomi India launched a few models. First, the manufacturer brought the much-awaited Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. It’s the first Mi 11 series smartphone that goes to India. After, Xiaomi introduced a new series of smartphones – the Xiaomi Mi 11X. But as we reported much earlier, this is the same series as the Redmi K40. Moreover, the standard Mi 11X corresponds to the Redmi K40, while the Mi 11X Pro is the Indian version of the Redmi K40 Pro+.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Selling Points

The Mi 11 Ultra sports a 6.81-inch display with a WQHD+ (1,440×3,200 pixels) resolution, an E4 AMOLED display, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and a 515ppi pixel density. Plus, this display is praised fro its 1,700 nits peak brightness, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 100 percent DCI – P3 color gamut. It is covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which provides the best protection. As you know, there is a 1.1-inch secondary display on the back. It has a 126×294 pixel resolution.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, which integrates the Adreno 660 GPU. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Of course, this model runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11. The Mi 11 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired and wireless charging, along with 10W reverse wireless charging.

The rear panel also hosts a triple-camera, which consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.95 aperture, OIS), a 48-megapixel sensor (ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 aperture, 128-degree FoV), and a 48-megapixel sensor (telephoto lens, up to 120x digital zoom). For selfies, there is a 20-megapixel camera (f/2.3 aperture).

Xiaomi Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro Key Features

In many aspects, the Xiaomi Mi 11X and the Mi 11X Pro are identical. But there are differences as well. Both phones come with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) E4 AMOLED display. The latter can boast of a 120Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, a 1,300 nits peak brightness, and a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The Redmi K40 has the best screen on the market. So the Mi 11X does as well. It supports HDR10+, 107.6% coverage of NTSC color space, 100% DCI-P3 and SGS Eye Care Certification. Also, this handset has a 92.61% screen-to-body ratio.

The Mi 11 X is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the contrary, the Mi 11X Pro is equipped with y the Snapdragon 888 SoC, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro are powered by 4,520mAh batteries. They support 33W fast charging and wired reverse charging at 2.5W.

The standard version sports a triple-camera including a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture, OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor (ultra-wide f/2.2 lens, 119-degree FoV), and a 5-megapxiel macro shooter (f/2.4 aperture). Here is another difference between the two – the Mi 11X Pro replaces the primary sensor with a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor (f/1.75 aperture). A 20MP selfie shooter with an f/2.45 lens is preserved on the front.

We know that smartphones’ priced vary from market to market. So it’s quite interesting whether they cost more in India. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra costs Rs. 69,990 ($932) for the sole 12GB + 256GB variant. There are two color options to choose from. But we still have no information when it will arrive in the stores.

The Xiaomi Mi 11X requires Rs. 29,999 ($400) for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs. 31,999 ($426) for the 8GB + 128GB model. Finally, the Mi 11X Pro is priced at Rs. 39,990 ($533) for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 41,999 ($559) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. These models are available in Celestial Silver, Cosmic Black, and Frosty White colors. The Mi 11X will go on sale on April 27 while its sibling will go on sale tomorrow.
