According to the latest sales charts from China the Xiaomi Mi2S is the most popular Android phone in the country beating out much larger rivals.
Xiaomi launched the flagship Xiaomi Mi2s which is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU in April as an updated to the Mi2. Combining the sales of both the Mi2 and Mi2s Xiaomi have sold an amazing 7.19million Mi2 phones!
Gizchina News of the week
Although Xiaomi are still quite a small manufacturer they have managed to climb to the top of the fastest growing phone market in the world while also beating Korean rivals Samsung along with HTC, Nokia, Lenovo not to mention the 100’s of smaller Chinese brands!
Xioami’s success isn’t just centred around it’s flagship models though, the budget Xiaomi Red Rice recently sold out 100,000 units in just 90 seconds when it officially went on sale yesterday at noon!

I want XIAOMI in portuguese.
Then buy it.
:’)
You mean “Portugal”, right???
LOL…
The Xiaomi should launch a mobile phone with the following specifications:
– Dual sim (dual standby);
– WCDMA (850, 2100Mhz);
– 3000mAh battery.or better;
– Display 5 inch.
Then let’s see what would be the final specification of Mi3.
fuck dual sim.
Only dual-band UMTS is useless for global use.
It needs to have a 5-band radio (850, 900, 1700+2100, 1900, 2100) to work universally, just like with voice in 4-band GSM.
The Chinese phone and chip manufacturer really need to step up here quickly.
And then we still have the even bigger LTE(-A) mess waiting for us.
@Amarildo
You should buy Lenovo P780 then, it is already available now. This phone meets all of your criteria.
I just wish the redrice comes out with a WCDMA 2100 version, i’d buy it immidiately.
Xiaomi CEO announced WCDMA version two days ago. Same price as TD.
Decent product at a decent price. What more can I say. Keep it up xiaomi…
As expected.
I am confused by specs at aliexpress. Does Xiaomi make a dual SIM, quad-core phone?
Thanks!
