While the owners of the OnePlus 6 and 6T will have to wait until August (or even September) for the very first OxygenOS 11 Open Beta, the OnePlus Nord owners are giving a step further to have a stable release. Back in the last month, OnePlus rolled out the first OxygenOS 11 Stable update for the OnePlus Nord. However, it wasn’t really that stable. Now, the company is bringing a bunch of tweaks in the form of the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 5 that will address certain issues and improve the camera performance.
As per the report, OnePlus has fixed several camera-related issues with the Open Beta 5 build on the OnePlus Nord. The company has fixed the issue due to which users encountered frame drops while recording videos. Another issue was with the camera preview not displaying properly in Nighscape tripod mode. Users also face an issue with the preview while recording 1080p 60fps videos with the 0.6x ultra-wide-angle camera. All these issues are now fixed with Open beta 5.

The company is also tweaking the performance. After installing this update, users will be able to connect to a WiFi network faster. The company has also improved the ability to detect wireless networks. Worth noting that OnePlus Nord owners will receive the update via the OTA channel. However, you must be enrolled in the Open Beta program to receive it. You can check the full changelog below:

Worth noting that those on the stable channel will have to wait a couple of weeks to receive these improvements. The Open beta runners will test the update and if no bugs appear, then, the company will convert this update into a stable release.
