Honor Play 5 will sport a 64MP Quad-Camera setup

Honor Play 5

Huawei set Honor free last November. Free from the ties imposed by the US Government, free to fly to higher heights as an independent company. Honor now acts under the control of a Chinese conglomerate and is aiming to conquer the smartphone market. So far, the company is quite on a slow pace, but this may change in the second half of 2021 as more and more smartphones will come under Honor’s branding. Now, the company is preparing the terrain for a device dubbed Honor Play 5 and it is aiming at the mid-range segment.

Back in the last month, a render of the Honor Play has emerged along with some details about its Quad-camera system which is reportedly led by a 64MP camera. Well, now there aren’t any doubts regarding the main camera as Honor took to Weibo to confirm it is coming with a 6MP Quad-Camera setup. The company also took the opportunity to tease the device with a 7.46mm thickness. Apparently, companies are going back to the trend of thin devices, hopefully, this is not coming at the cost of battery capacity.
