This week was marked by the announcement of Apple’s new operating systems. During this year’s edition of WWDC, the company unveiled iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey. The Cupertino-based giant was also rumored to launch a new Macbook Pro during the developer event, but that didn’t happen. However, the company may have accidentally confirmed the new MacBook Pro featuring the Apple M1X. The company has listed the Apple Mi1X MacBook Pro as a tag for the WWDC 2021 Keynote on YouTube. The video also has tags like iOS 15, Swift, WWDC, etc.
Rumors were suggesting the arrival of a new MacBook featuring a faster chip dubbed as Apple M1X. The “leaked” tagline is a shred of good evidence that the chip and the laptop exist. However, it may come on another event later this year since it didn’t appear during the keynote. Perhaps, the next event focused on the MacBook lineup.
OK OK OK
Everyone stay calm… but I just spotted these tags on Apple's YouTube livestream of the June 7 keynote!!!

The tag does not totally indicate the launch. However, it does suggest that Apple could launch a new MacBook Pro later this year. According to a recent report from Bloomberg, the upcoming MacBook Pro could launch this summer.
The rumors suggest that the new laptop will come in 14-inch and 16-inch flavors. The smaller variant bears the J314 codename, whereas the 16-inch model has the codename J316. These two models will feature a redesigned chassis and magnetic charging. They will also come with multiple ports, including the HDMI port and SD card slot.
Apple will also reveal two separate chips for the new Apple MacBook Pro models. These bear codenames Jade C-Shop and Jade C-Die. Both chips will feature eight high-performance cores and two energy-efficient cores. The major difference will lie in the GPU. The report further states that either model will come with 16 or 32 GPU cores. The Apple M1 chip, in comparison, has only four performance and four efficiency cores. It also boasts eight graphics cores. So we’re seeing a huge jump in terms of performance for the upcoming MacBook Pro. The new chip will also come with support for up to 64GB of RAM, another big jump. The Apple M1 chip only supports up to 16GB RAM.
While the new Apple M1X and MacBook Pro seem to have missed the WWDC, we expect to hear more about them in the coming weeks. One time that Apple is taking the “Summer” window to launch its next products, we may hear more soon.
