According to the latest report, Xiaomi will have a huge event in August. There are speculations that the company will unveil the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 at the event. From the speculations so far, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will have three models. The models include Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Pro, and Mi Pad 5 Pro+.

According to initial reports, one of these models will use a Snapdragon 888 SoC. However, other speculations show that all the models in this series will come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Yet another round of speculations claims that these models will have different processors. They will use the Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 860, and Snapdragon 768G. The implication of this contrasting information is that there is no concrete information regarding the processor of this tablet. However, it will support 5G making it the first Xiaomi tablet to support 5G connection.

Furthermore, the Mi Pad 5 will also come with a high-quality display panel. This display not only has a resolution of 2560 x 1600, but also supports a 120Hz high refresh rate, 240hz high touch sampling rate, and also supports 4096 touchĀ screens.Ā This device will also support an In-Cell active pen technology, comparable to iPad Pro.

    I'm going to wait for this to come out before buying a tablet, the xiaoxin pad pro 2021 is also worth considering. I know iPad Pro is currently the king of the hill and I have the capacity to buy one but I think it doesn't suit my needs :/
