Honor 50 with 12GB RAM & a 108MP camera to start sales tomorrow

After its independence from Huawei, Honor is now trying to pick up its pieces. The company can now use GMS which means that it does not have the limitations of Huawei anymore. Since the launch of the Honor 50 series, the sales of this series have been pretty good. Information from JD.com reveals that the Honor 50 is the best-selling smartphone in the 2500-4000 yuan ($386 – $618) range for 17 consecutive days. The first sales report announced by Honor shows that the Honor 50 series hit 500 million yuan (over $77 million) sales in one minute. According to Honor, the 12GB + 256GB version of the Honor 50 will officially commence sales tomorrow. The pre-order price of this smartphone on Honor’s flagship store is 3399 yuan ($526).

The Honor 50 mobile phone officially started its first sale on June 25. The mobile phone uses the Snapdragon 778G processor, 1 billion colour ultra-curved screen, 4000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. These are some of the selling points of this device. Furthermore, in the camera department, this smartphone comes with a 108-megapixel main camera. It also uses an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens.

However, with the high demand for the Honor 50 series, the company is struggling with production. According to Honor, in order to ensure that consumers get the product as soon as possible after placing the order, it is currently making every effort to increase production capacity.
