One time that the POCO F3 GT is just a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition we know most of its specifications. The gaming-oriented smartphone packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution. The panel also offers 120 Hz of refresh rate and has a 480 Hz touch sampling rate for a smooth experience while gaming. The panel also sports a centered punch-hole and is HDR 10+ certified.
Under the hood, the POCO F3 GT will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It comprises one ARM Cortex-A78 core clocked at up to 3 GHz, and three ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6 GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. The chipset also brings a powerful Mali-G78 GPU with nine cores. The SoC boasts cutting edge 6 nm architecture. To ensure long-gaming sessions with stable performance, the company developed a vapor cooling technology to keep heat away.
In terms of optics, the handset sports a 64 MP triple-rear camera setup with a pulsating ambient light around the module. This can be used as a notification LED. The secondary camera is an 8 MP ultrawide angle camera, while the tertiary sensor is a 2 MP macro shooter. Selfie lovers will be served with a 16 MP shooter.
The POCO F3 GT draws power from a 5,065mAh battery with 67W fast-charging. It also sports JBL-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. The original smartphone is available in Shadow, Light Blade, Silver Wing colorways as well as a special Bruce Lee edition. We don’t know if all these colorways will get a “POCO” treatment yet.
