Samsung has now added a new smartphone to its Indian portfolio. This time the company has launched a 2021 edition of its previous-gen Galaxy M21 smartphone. For those who’re unaware, the Galaxy M21 was originally released in March 2020. The chaebol has now revamped the device by launching a 2021 version. While you might be expecting a solid improvement, that sadly is not the case. Here’s what the new version brings to the table.
Galaxy M21 2021 Edition packs the same hardware with one slight change!
If you’ll place the M21 and M21 2021 Edition side by side, you’ll see a slight change in the design. When it comes to hardware, the trend remains the same. You’ll only see one slight change and that is in the primary sensor on the back. The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition comes with a Samsung 48MP GM2 sensor. The original version of the smartphone features the same megapixels but a different sensor.
Apart from this, the rest of the hardware remains the same. The 2021 edition of the smartphone boasts a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that has 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 403 PPI density, and a 19.5:9 ratio. It also contains a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by Exynos 9611 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage.
