In a couple of days, on July 29, Huawei will hold a new product launch conference. At the event, the Chinese company will uncover the Huawei P50 series smartphones.
This morning, a Weibo tipster revealed that the offline demonstration machines are ready. But the number is not large.
A bit earlier today, some users even disclosed the list of Huawei P50 series demonstration prototypes. Among them, we can see the Huawei P50 Pro with a 4G support. It sports the Kirin 9000 chip (4G version), an 8GB+256GB storage combination, and there are at least three colors of Black, Snow White, and Cocoa Tea.
This is also consistent with previous reports. Say, we have heard that the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro models will mainly focus on the 4G versions. The 5G versions may have a relatively small inventory. But there should not be much performance and configuration difference.
As for the top version of the Huawei P50 Pro+, the phone may be postponed. After the P50/P50 Pro are out, they will be listed separately.
Huawei P50 Features
On the front, our protagonist will adopt a centered punch-hole curved screen design with a screen resolution of 1224*2696 and a screen ratio of close to 20:9.

However, although there are restrictions on the chip, the Huawei P50 series may once again become a benchmark product in the entire industry in terms of imaging. We mean the previous rumors, according to which, after many optimizations, it will have super-strong imaging capabilities.
Say, we know that the Huawei P50 will be come with the latest Sony 1/1.18-inch custom sensor. It may be named IMX800. This will also become Sony’s largest sensor in history. At the same time, it will support Huawei’s unique RYYB arrangement. In terms of camera arrangement, the Huawei P50 will have four rear cameras and adopts a “3+1” camera layout. It includes 3 sensors on the top and 1 camera on the bottom.
In addition, as the first top flagship released after the launch of the Harmony system, the Huawei P50 series will also run this system out of the box.
Lastly, the P50 Standard Edition will support a 66W fast charging, and the P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ will come with Huawei’s self-developed 100W super-fast charging.
Apart from the Huawei P50 series phones, the company will launch other products at the conference as well. They include Huawei’s new watch for kids, the Huawei Band 6 Pro, a few new smart screen products, new SoundX Flamingo and so on.
That doesn't make any sense. The only way they can have 5g is via those kirin 9000.why would they sacrifice them for 4g models.
