Mi 11T

Back in the last year, Xiaomi introduced a Mi 10T series of smartphones in India and global markets. In India, the company unveiled two premium, yet affordable, smartphones dubbed Mi 10T and the 10T Pro. The global markets got a Mi 10T Lite which later arrived in India with an improved camera and Mi 10i moniker. The Mi 10T was launched in September / October 2020 and is now due for an annual refresh. For that reason, the company is already preparing the terrain for the Mi 11T series and the leaks are confirming this. Earlier today, details about the Mi 11T Pro were spotted online. Now, it’s time for the Mi 11T 5G to leave its disguise.

Ahead of the Mi 11T 5G official launch, the smartphone has visited the FCC website. It confirms some key details about the smartphone. The Mi 11T 5G boasts model number 21081111RG. According to the FCC listing, the Mi 11T 5G runs MIUI 12.5 straight out of the box. The listing further reveals the list of the LTE bands the device will support.

Mi 11T 5G alleged specifications

As per a report from GSMArena, the Mi 11T will feature the Dimensity 1200 platform from MediaTek. This chip has been conquering most of the Chinese smartphone makers this year which are easily leaving Snapdragon alternatives in favor of the Dimensity 1200. For instance, even OnePlus has switched the Snapdragon platform for the Dimensity 1200 in the OnePlus Nord 2. For those unaware, the new platform is built on TSMC’s 6 nm process. It features a 1 + 3 + 4 architecture with Cortex-A78 cores at 3 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores at 2.6 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz.

The device has a Triple-Camera setup comprising a 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 3x Tele-Macro camera. The device will have a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Worth noting, that Xiaomi is rumored to replace the LCD in the previous generation for AMOLED panels. We expect the device to have a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh with 33W fast-charging at the very least. Of course, we can also hope for an upgrade for 67W charging in this generation.
