Motorola Moto E20 smartphone has been subject to all sorts of leaks and speculations surrounding its specifications. The American consumer electronics company launched the Edge 20 series featuring premium, upper mid-range smartphones earlier this month. A new entry-level Motorola phone with model number XT-2155 passed through Bluetooth SIG and TÜV Rheinland just a few days later.
Moreover, another device with the moniker Lenovo K14 was also spotted on Bluetooth SIG and TUV certification with some key details by MySmartPrice. The company recently announced that the Edge 20 India sale has been pushed back due to unexpected circumstances. Both Motorola Edge 20 and the Edge 20 Fusion smartphones have been announced in India, but they are still not gone up for sale in the country. The Motorola Edge 20 was originally set to hit the store shelves in India on August 24.
Design & Other Details
Noted leaker Evan Blass shared a series of leaked renders of a Motorola phone last week. He did not reveal the name of this budget phone at the time. However, if the phone’s outward appearance is anything to go by, it could be the long-rumored Moto E20 smartphone. On August 26, Blass took to his Twitter account again to share a new render of the aforesaid smartphone. According to the tipster, the device could launch as the Moto E20.

The recently surfaced render shows the device with a teardrop notch display. It appears to have a polycarbonate back with a hexagonal pattern. There is a vertically aligned dual-camera setup at the back of the Moto E20 smartphone. The voice assistant button, power key, and volume button occupy the right edge of the phone. The left edge houses a SIM slot, while the top edge features a 3.5mm audio jack. The microphone, speaker grille, and a USB-C port are at the bottom. The fingerprint scanner is missing.
Moto E20 Specifications (Expected)
In his tweet, Blass revealed that the Moto E20 has a model number XT2155-1 and it carries the codename Aruba. The phone has a 6.5-inch display with an HD+ resolution. It packs an unspecified 1.6GHz octa-core processor under the hood. Blass claims that it will not come with a Qualcomm processor. Moreover, the phone will offer 2GB of RAM, paired with 32GB of built-in storage.
The phone will come running on Android 11 OS and will use a 4,000mAh battery to power up the entire system. In the optics department, the phone has a 5MP selfie camera. Some reports claim that the Moto E20 is simply rebranded Lenovo K14 smartphone. Blass has confirmed that Motorola is also working on the Moto E30 handset which has the codename Cyprus. More details about the device are still scarce.
