Meizu Snapdragon 870 smartphone with 30W fast charging and no charger gets 3C certification


A few hours ago, there were reports of two new Meizu flagships with model numbers M182Q and M192Q. These flagships appeared on TENAA and there were reports that these are the Meizu 18s and Meizu 18s Pro. These smartphones come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888+ SoC. However, there is another information on a new Meizu model with model number M172Q. This smartphone will come with a lower Snapdragon 870 SoC. According to speculations, this device could be an “X” or a “T” model from the company.

This model (the Snapdragon 870 model) now has the Chinese 3C certification. With this certification, the new Meizu smartphone is not very far from its official launch. From the 3C certification, this device will come with 30W fast charging.

Recall that the Meizu 17 supports 30W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging. In addition, the Meizu 18 Pro supportsĀ 40W Super mCharge wired fast charging and 40W wireless fast charging. Furthermore, the Meizu 18 comes with 36W fast charging, and supports 30W bright screen fast charging.

Meizu 18s & Meizu 18s Pro appears on TENAA

The recent TENAA listing for the Meizu 18s and Meizu 18s Pro shows that these devices will some differences. The listing shows that the Meizu M182Q’s dimensions is 162.4 x 69.2 x 8.18 mm and it weighs 162 grams. This device will come with a 6.2-inch AMOLED screen that supports a 1440 x 3200-pixel resolution. In the camera department, this device will use a triple rear camera setup. It will have a 64MP main camera as well as 16MP and 8MP supporting sensors. ON the front, we will have a 20MP selfie shooter.

As for the M192Q, it appears to be a high version of the M182Q. This device will be bigger by a few inches and it comes with a dimension of 162.5 x 73 x 8.1mm and weighs 189 grams. This device will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. The front camera will be a huge 44MP front shooter. However, on the rear, it will have a 50MP main camera as well as a 50MP, 32MP, 8MP, and 0.3MP supporting sensors. Under the hood, we have a 4410 mAh battery to keep the lights on.

Aside from that, the two handsets will come running on Android 11 OS. The devices will ship with 8GB and 12GB of RAM options. As far as onboard storage capacity is concerned, you will be able to choose between 128GB and 256GB storage options. The alleged Meizu phones seem to feature an on-screen fingerprint scanner for additional protection.
