JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth Speaker

JBL has announced the much-awaited JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth Speaker alongside two equally anticipated portable speakers. Earlier this month, the premium audio equipment manufacturer introduced a myriad of new speakers. Among others, the company unveiled a pair of headphones for kids and four new wireless earbuds. It also introduced a gaming headset under $100, the Partybox 110 and 710, as well as a new Flip Bluetooth speaker.

The original Flip Bluetooth speaker will be getting an update two years after hitting the store shelves. The Samsung-owned company announced the Flip 6 on September 2. According to JBL, this newfangled Bluetooth speaker is more durable and offers better battery life than the Flip 5. Aside from that, the PartyBox lineup of portable speakers has been expanded in the form of PartyBox 710 and PartyBox 110. Both models are IPX4 rated and adopt a splashproof design. Other recently unveiled JBL products include Endurance Race headsets, Tune 130NC, Tune 230NC, Reflect Flow Pro, and the Quantum 350 wireless earphones.

JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth Speaker Launched

The newly announced Bluetooth speaker comes with a new audio configuration as compared to the Flip 5. However, it sports the same tubular design as its predecessor. The JBL Flip 6 features a separate tweeter, a racetrack-shaped woofer, and dual passive radiators that facilitate deep bass, according to CNet. For connectivity, the speaker has Bluetooth 5.1. Furthermore, the Flip 6 has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. It is worth mentioning here that the Flip 5 is rated IPX7 and features Bluetooth v4.2.

The Flip 6 offers the same battery life as its predecessor. In other words, it offers up to 12 hours of battery life. The Flip 6 will go on sale via JBL.com starting from November. It will set you back EUR 139 (about $165). Moreover, it will be available in Squad, Forest Green, Steel White, Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, Fiesta Red, River Teal, Grey Stone, and Dusty Pink color options. It will retail for $129.95 in the US.

JBL PartyBox 110, PartyBox 710 Price & Specs

The new PartyBox Bluetooth speaker models are IPX4 rated. Furthermore, they come with TRS input support, USB, and LEDs. The PartyBox 110 delivers 160W speaker output power, and the PartyBox 710 offers a speaker output power of 800W. The 710 features wheels for easier portability. Moreover, you can sync both devices to the music. On top of that, you can plug in your guitar and mic in both Partybox speakers. Aside from that, the JBL PartyBox app lets customize light shows, switch tracks, and more using a smartphone.

You can get stereo sound output by connecting two PartyBox 110 speakers. The PartyBox 710 features a couple of low distortion tweeters of 2.75-inch. Also, it comes with two high sensitivity excursion drivers of 8 inch, and an enhanced bass reflex port. The PartyBox 710 will go on sale starting from October for EUR 749 (about $890). The JBL PartyBox 110 is currently up for grab for EUR 359 (about $426). They are available for $399.95 and $799.95, respectively in the US.
