Galaxy A22 5G

According to rumors, Samsung is gearing up to introduce new F-series smartphones in India soon. The biggest hint we’re getting today as Samsung has just made live the support page for the Galaxy F42 5G in the country. The support page lists the smartphone’s model number, which is SM-E426B, and unfortunately does not bring further details about the smartphone. Some of the key specifications are already known thanks to previously leaked information. According to reports, the Galaxy F42 5G will be a rebadged version of the Galaxy A22 5G.

The sole fact that Samsung has made the support page live, suggests that the device is very close to being launched. For now, there is still no official word from the Korean firm, but we can expect the device to hit India this month or earlier in October 2021. Although no details have been revealed by the company or by the support page, we already know what to expect from the new smartphones.

The device is a rebadged Galaxy A22 5G which currently is the cheapest Samsung 5G smartphone in the market. We don’t know exactly what will be the differences between the F42 5G and the A22 5G. We assume there are some, or else what would be the point of launching this device in a market that already has the A22 5G? The Galaxy F42 5G always had an appeal for the younger and camera lovers. So we can expect some improvements in the camera territory.

Under the hood, the smartphone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G versus the Helio G80 SoC on the 4G models.
