Realme 8s 5G will be going on sale in India today, offering awe-inspiring features without burning a hole in your pocket. The Indian-based Chinese smartphone maker unveiled the Realme 8 series smartphones featuring the Realme 8s, Realme 8i last week. The 8s has already made multiple appearances online in the form of leaks. As a result, the upcoming phone’s specifications and other key details have been revealed ahead of launch.
Earlier this month, the Realme 8 series smartphones arrived on the web in the form of a new leak. Aside from that, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has shared a photo of Realme 8s smartphone on social media, leaving little to the imagination. As expected, the photo revealed the design of the upcoming handset. Moreover, it shed light on some other vital information including a triple rear camera setup. Also, the photo showed a fingerprint scanner on the side edge of the phone.
Realme 8s 5G Goes On Sale In India
The 8s 5G is set to go on sale at 12 PM (noon) today, September 13. Furthermore, the phone will be available in the country via Flipkart, Realme’s official online store, and other Indian offline retailers. The Realme 8s 5G will set you back INR 17,999 (about $244) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is available for INR 19,999 (about $271).

The phone will be available in two eye-catching color options including Universe Purple and Universe Blue. You can avail of an INR 1,500 (about $20) discount if you place your order using HDFC Bank credit or debit card or EMI transactions. Aside from that, buyers who use their ICICI Bank credit cards, or credit EMI transactions can take advantage of this discount.

The Realme 8s 5G smartphone will come running on Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS. It has a 6.5-inch display that offers 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC under the hood. Furthermore, it will ship with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The 8s 5G offers 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage capacity that you can expand up to 1TB via a microSD card. The phone houses a triple camera setup at the back.
