Back in June, the Honor 50 series premiered and became a landmark in the new history of the former Huawei sub-brand. On October 26, it will be presented on the global market and on the eve of this event the company made an official statement regarding the support of Google services.
It said that it was able to return to cooperation with a number of partner companies. It was also confirmed that the Honor 50 series smartphones will receive support for Google services, which “provide customers with a richer application environment and an exceptional mobile experience.” With a post on the official Twitter page, the company confirmed that its smartphones will offer a full version of Android in the global market.
There is already a forecast that outside of China, the Honor 50 will be available in two versions with 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB of memory. The basic version can cost 499 euros, and for the top version they will ask for 599 euros. Whether users will want to buy devices from a company, the talk of which is still on the sanctions list, is an open question.
Recall that the Honor 50 is based on the Snapdragon 778G chipset, it has an OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a diagonal of 6.57 inches, a 4300 mAh battery with 66 W fast charging and a quadruple rear camera of 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 Mp + 2 Mp.

Alongside the Honor 50, Honor also launched the 50 Pro, and 50 SE. These are the first Honor smartphones to support Google’s GMS in over a year. Furthermore, all three smartphones come with 108MP cameras and support up to 100W fast charging. The Honor 50 Pro comes with a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, the Honor 50 uses a 6.57-inch panel. Apart from the screen size, other specs of the display are the same on both smartphones.
