Vivo Y71t

Vivo has just introduced a new Vivo Y-series smartphone dubbed as the Vivo Y71t in the Chinese market. The Vivo Y71t comes to complete the family with a mid-range device from Vivo. It is equipped with MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 810 SoC. The handset also sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The handset comes with Android 11 and has Origin OS running on top. It also got top-notch cameras and 44W fast-charging. Without further ado, let’s see what Vivo has in tow with this new premium mid-range contender.

Vivo Y71t specifications

The Vivo Y71t sports a waterdrop notch at the top of the display. It serves as a home for the selfie camera. The device flaunts an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. The device has a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. There is also a standard 60 Hz refresh rate, which is very unfortunate at this point. Anyway, the contrast is pretty decent with a 3000000:1 ratio. The panel has a 20+9 aspect ratio and a 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, there is a modern MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC alongside a Mali-G57 GPU.

On the software front, the device runs Android 11 straight out of the box. There is also an OriginOS 1.0 skin running on top. If this device ever comes for the international markets then we can expect it to get FuntouchOS 11 instead. The handset runs with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage.

Going for the optics department, the device sports a dual-camera setup at the back which includes a 64 MP primary camera and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. It’s strange to see just two cameras in 2021, but at least we have two useful cameras rather than unexpressive modules just for the numbers. Selfies and video calls are ensured by a 16 MP camera
