Huawei has been continuously expanding its wearable portfolio. While the company has been struggling to keep smartphones coming, the brand has been exploring and enhancing other of its hardware departments. Today, the company is introducing the Huawei Watch Fit Mini in Europe. The device is reaching the old continent and has slightly taller, narrower, and lighter than any other Watch Fit wearable ever released.

Huawei Watch Fit Mini specs and features

As the name suggests, the Huawei Watch Fit Mini boasts a smaller screen with a lighter body. However, it retains all features from its bigger sibling, as well as long battery life and physical button on the side. The display has a 1.47-inch diagonal and is an AMOLED panel. Moreover, it supports touch input and even slides gestures. The resolution of the panel is 368 x 194 pixels delivering a 282 ppi density. It’s a crispy display when you take the resolution into consideration. The wearable weighs just 20 grams and there are three options for a strap – Frosty White, Mocha Brown, and Taro Purple.

The wearable comes with ha six-axis IMU sensor that will play the role of a gyroscope and an accelerometer sensor. It is also used as a heart rate sensor on the back. Interestingly, this module also handles the SpO2 metering. For those unaware, this sensor is used to detect the level of oxygen in the blood. If its shows a result under 80 percent, the wearable will immediately suggest you see a medical specialist. This feature gained popularity with the pandemic, after all, a degradation in the bloody oxygen levels is one of the symptoms that indicate that COVID-19 is advancing in a person.

The wearable also comes with Cycle Calendar. It will allow Women to receive discreet timely reminders when their period is coming. Interestingly, the Huawei Health App in the wearable has a calendar that allows you to keep track. In terms of sports, the wearable comes with 96 indoor and outdoor exercise modes. The wearable can also keep track of your sleep and will offer data about sleep quality.

The battery capacity of the smartphone is 180 mAh. It is advertised to last 14 days of typical usage on a single charge. If you use the smartwatch heavily, then it will last around 10 days.

Pricing and Availability

The new Huawei Watch Fit Mini is available for purchase in some European countries like Germany and Italy. The wearable costs €99 and the company is even offering a free scale and Runtastic Premium Membership for one month.
