Tipster Suggests Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Set to Launch on January 4, Unpacked Event Expected

Recently, popular Twitter tipster Jon Prosser revealed that the pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which will likely consist of the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra will start on February 8, with a release date set for February 18.

Now, he has taken to the social media site to reveal that while Samsung was working on investigating his recent S22 leak, he has some information in relation to the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.

He mentions that there is an Unpacked event set for January 4, which will see the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE or Fan Edition, with no pre-order period in place and a release date of January 11, 2022.

This device, which will be the low-cost variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a plastic back with either an Exynos 2100 SoC or the Snapdragon 888 SoC varying from one region to the other.

For those curious, both of these chips are 5nm chips. The device will sport an AMOLED panel with a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with support for 120Hz refresh rate support.

The device will supposedly come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with a 4,370 mAh battery to power the device, with support for 25W charging.

Prosser further reveals that the Unpacked Event for the S22 series, set for February 8 will take place on February 8, 10 am ET, with pre-orders beginning on the same day.
