Redmi Note 11T confirmed with 33W fast-charging

Redmi Note 11T 5G India launch

Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Redmi Note 11T in the Indian market. This is, in fact, the first Redmi Note 11 series smartphone to reach the market and comes to succeed the Redmi Note 10T that was a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G. Interestingly, the rumors suggest that the Redmi Note 11T 5G is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G. The device was launched a few weeks ago in China, and apparently, will not reach India with the same name. Does this mean that the Redmi Note 11 will not reach India? Actually not! Rumors say that the two phones will reach the country with a different set of specs. Anyway, the Redmi Note 11T is coming first on November 30 and Redmi keeps teasing the handset.

The Redmi Note 11T 5G is set to launch in the next week in the country. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed that it will pack 33W fast charging. Just one day before, the company has confirmed the handset will be the second 5G enabled smartphone from Redmi to reach the country. It also teased the handset with a 6 nm processor, which basically confirms the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC in tow.

Redmi Note 11T 5G specifications

The Redmi Note 11T 5G is a “white-labeled” Redmi Note 11 5G, therefore, we already know what to expect in terms of specifications. The Redmi Note 11 5G will come with a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the hood, the handset sports an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC made on TSMC’s 6 nm fabrication process. The device will come in three storage / RAM configurations. There will be a base one with 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB of Internal Storage, 6 GB with 128 GB Storage, and 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage.

The Chinese variant packs a 50 MP dual-rear camera setup with an 8 MP ultrawide lens. Companies are starting to shift to the “less is more” strategy as long as the two cameras are useful. The handset will have a 5,000 mAh battery which charges fastly with the 33 W fast-charging. In terms of software, the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 will be here straight out of the box. Of course, the device will be eligible for Android 12 with MIUI 13.

The price in India will be set between INR 16,999 to INR 19,999 ($208 to $268). With a few days remaining, we expect the company to keep teasing the handset in the coming days.
