Back in August, Huawei officially released the Huawei P50 series and these smartphones have been on sale in China. However, for obvious reasons, these devices are not readily available even in China. According to a recent report from Huawei Central, the Huawei P50 Pro will arrive on the global market soon. However, unlike the Chinese version, the global version of this smartphone will come with EMUI 12. Nevertheless, there are reports that the system interface of Huawei P50 Pro EMUI 12 is the same as that of HarmonyOS 2.
EMUI 12 fine-tunes a few features of HarmonyOS 2 but the overall user experience is basically the same as HarmonyOS 2. In the core configuration, Huawei P50 Pro uses a 6.6-inch OLED full screen with a resolution of 2700 × 1228. On the rear, it comes with a 50MP main camera as well as a 40MP black and white, 13MP ultra-wide angle, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. On the front, this smartphone comes with a 13MP selfie shooter. Under the hood, the Huawei P50 Pro comes with a 4360mAh battery to keep its lights on.
However, it is important to note that the Huawei P50 Pro global version may use a Snapdragon 888 SoC. Of course, this will be the 4G version of this processor. The Chinese version comes with Kirin 9000 5G SoC which is currently out of print. This smartphone in China 8GB + 256GB version costs 6488 yuan ($1,019)
