South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, is getting set to unveil its latest flagship series, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. According to reports, the Galaxy S22 series will be official early next year, probably in February. The super-large Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will continue to use the 100MP solution on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This flagship smartphone will be the only model in the series to use the 100MP camera. While we wait for the official release of the Galaxy S22 series, we already have a report about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The latest reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will use a Samsung 200MP main camera. Of course, this device will not launch next year. It will arrive in the first quarter of 2023. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra camera speculations
According to @UniverseIce, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will adopt a four-camera solution. This smartphone will come with a higher version of the 108MP HM3 sensor and the size of the sensor is 1/1.33 inches. In addition, the pixel density is 0.8μm, supplemented by an f/1.8 aperture, and the field of view is 85 degrees. For the wide-angle lens, it is 0.6 times the 12MP Sony sensor, the sensor size is 1/2.55 inches and the pixel density is 1.4μm. Furthermore, the wide-angle lens aperture is f/2.2, and the field of view is 120 degrees.
The remaining two telephoto lenses are a 10MP 10x zoom Sony sensor (size 1/3.52 inches, pixel density 1.12μm, f/4.9 aperture, 11-degree shooting range) and a 10MP 3x zoom Sony sensor (1/3.52 sensor size, 1.12μm pixel density, f/2.4 aperture, and 36-degree shooting range). The overall specifications are not much different from the previous Galaxy S21 Ultra. We can see that the sensor parameters of each lens are basically the same as the previous generation. However, we hope that the company optimizes the software for better results.
According to reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will receive a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display. The peak brightness of the panel should be 1800 nits and this will be a record in the industry. For comparison, the Galaxy S21 Ultra has a maximum display brightness of 1500 nits. The battery should be 5000mAh and promise 45W fast charging. Unlike Chinese companies, Samsung prefers not to ramp up fast-charging power. There is no need to wait for a charging adapter in the bundle, the company continues to bend the policy of a cut-down bundle for its flagship devices.
