Today, iQOO held a new product launch conference online. The long-rumored iQOO 9 series was officially announced. The iQOO 9 series come with the latest 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC. This chip uses a new X2 super core, a built-in enhanced version of LPDDR5, and an overclocking version of UFS 3.1, with Turbo mode. The iQOO 9 series also supports an independent display chip which brings a smooth and refreshing game experience with high frames and low power consumption. This feature easily delivers 90 or even 120 frames. It not only reduces the power consumption and stabilizes the frame rate, it also delivers a stable performance as well as a lasting high frame rate for gaming.
Since this device is a gaming smartphone, it must have good heat dissipation. The iQOO 9 comes with 3923 square millimeters of super large heat dissipation plate to cover the fuselage. It also has two split-flow power pumps to ensure chip heat dissipation. Furthermore, the stacked waterfall VC three-dimensional heat dissipation system further accelerates the cooling.
The iQOO 9 series display upgrades to a 6.78-inch Samsung 120Hz E5 flexible straight screen. This device comes with a 1.7mm extremely narrow frame and a local peak brightness of up to 1500nit. With this specification, the screen content remains clear and visible even under strong light conditions.

This smartphone also comes with a full-sensing control system 3.0. Also, the dual-control pressure-sensing area under the screen has been further increased. It is equipped with two X-axis motors with greater steady-state vibration and 4D game vibration. The iQOO9 series will become the official KPL smartphone in 2022.
iQOO 9 Pro details
In terms of appearance and design, iQOO 9 Pro is available in two colours schemes including the Legendary Edition and the orange version. The orange version inherits the classics and brings a sense of plain leather. iQOO 9 Pro debuts Samsung’s new-generation sensor GN5 with a 1/1.57″ inch outsole. This device combines a full-pixel dual-core focus and a micro-pan head to achieve stable and clear images. The new 150° fisheye super wide-angle sensor brings a wider picture and more gameplay.
In addition to the 50-megapixel main camera, the iQOO 9 Pro also includes a 50-megapixel fish-eye ultra-wide-angle lens which supports 150° ultra-wide-angle shooting. Furthermore, this device comes with a 16-megapixel telephoto portrait lens. This smartphone not only supports super anti-shake, but also has a big breakthrough in night scene photography.
The iQOO 9 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch 2K 120Hz high refresh rate display. This screen is the Samsung E5 display that supports LTPO 2.0 technology. It also incoporates an ultrasonic 3D wide-area fingerprint. Under the hood, this device comes with a 4700 mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charge, 50W wireless fast charge and 10W wireless reverse. This smartphone also uses a brand new GaN 120W charging head.
