Vivo’s new Y-series smartphone is reportedly set to launch in India soon. The new phone will succeed the recently unveiled Vivo Y33T. Moreover, it is likely to retain the specifications of its predecessor. In the meantime, 91mobiles has managed to acquire the Vivo Y21e smartphone’s specifications in collaboration with leaker Ishan Agarwal.
The Y21e will be Vivo’s latest mid-range phone in the Y-series. The Chinese technology company is still mum on the phone’s exact launch date. However, industry insider Ishan Agarwal has exclusively shared the Vivo Y21e smartphone’s key specifications and renders with 91mobiles. To recall, the company recently launched the Vivo Y33T in India as a successor to the Vivo Y33s. Key specifications of the Vivo Y21e include Android 12 OS, Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 13MP main camera, and more.

If the new piece of information is anything to go by, the Vivo Y21e smartphone will run Android OS based on FunTouch OS 12. Moreover, the handset is likely to sport a 6.51-inch display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The renders show that the waterdrop notch will be aligned centrally on the display to accommodate the front shooter. On the downside, the phone seems to have a thick bezel at the bottom. However, you will be able to choose between two appealing color options including Blue and White.
The right edge houses the volume up and down buttons. Aside from that, the right spine features a power button that serves as a fingerprint sensor. The rear panel has a sizeable rectangular module to house two cameras, as well as an LED flash. The bottom of the phone has the 3.5mm audio jack, main microphone, a speaker grille, and the USB Type-C slot for data transfer and charging. Furthermore, the handset will ship with a powerful octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC.
